The Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) - ASAP is comprised of two components, Prevention education and rehabilitation. We provide prevention education and awareness campaigns, in the areas of alcohol and drug abuse prevention, suicide prevention, urinalysis testing, risk reduction, and civilian employee counseling. These programs are designed to support the overall fitness and effectiveness of the JBER-Richardson Community and to support combat readiness through the elimination of alcohol and/or other drugs abuse. Rehabilitation services are provided to restore to duty those substance-impaired Soldiers who have the potential for continued military Service.
