No. Recreational drug use is not legal anywhere at anytime for anyone, except in some parts of the world where the drug in question is legal. But most heavy-duty drugs are NOT legal anywhere and anyone using them openly risks getting caught and going to jail.

The only thing I know to be legal is hash in Holland. You can go into a cafe and buy a spliff at the same time as you buy your coffee and bagel, just by selecting it from a tray. You are only allowed to buy a certain amount at a time, but that is the only limiting factor and nothing stops you going to another cafe right away and getting more.

It's not legal in my place but if you will give money under the table, anything is legal nowadays. That's the reality nowadays. Money can do everything.

Actually Britjojo, Hash and Weed are not legal in Holland. The official position of the Dutch government is that it is tolerated. You can't grown weed for example but then on the other side you can go to a coffee shop in town a buy a few grams.

That's similar to the UK position, only a little more liberal still. Can you explain to me Jim, how it can be that you can buy it at a cafe, but it not be legal? What class of drug is it over there, and what are the possession/selling penalties. Sorry if that is too many questions.

Drugs are basically tolerated in any form or shape as long as the amount you posses falls within personal consumption quantities. You can even get your xtc pills tested on raves to check if the quality is good. Better this way then swollowing stuff which might be laced with poison of God knows what else.

Ok, so that is a little more tolerant but still the same basically as the UK. Thanks Jim.

No, not at all. Nothing is legal in clubs except cigarettes and alcohol.

There is a difference between what club management tolerates and what the cops would do. I know for a fact that in the UK club drugs are not allowed under the law.

At one time, GHB was legal in an over the counter form that was sold in health food stores. It has long since been made illegal and has been banned.

I don't believe that you have heard from anyone that drugs are legal in clubs, or that if you have, you believe that they are. Of course they aren't. You know they aren't. You asked the same question above, and several other people have answered it for you. To save you asking again, drugs are not legal. Not in clubs, not in pubs, not in your home.

No, obviously, club drugs are illegal, but that does not stop people from taking or smuggling them. Being illegal means there is great profit to be made from the stuff and unfortunately smugglers are more than willing to risk the law to make the big bucks.

Yep, but at the same time, illegal narcotics are one of the only products out there that's price hasn't risen with inflation. Drugs are about as affordable now as they ever were, and in fact are becoming increasingly cheaper.

In my place you get a 3 year jail time just for using drugs, So I guess they are not that legal. In holland though and Canada I think marijuana and canabis are legal drugs you can smoke them anywhere so I guess this is a bad mistake the gouvernment makes.
