Need Advice about family members possible meth use

My 15 year old brother recently visited us from out of state...he confessed to us his own use of pot (and atleast once used acid) & that our dad had confessed to him his use of Crank in the past. My stepmother that lives with them is Bipolar and has atleast used pot and crank, telling my brother that it helps with her disorder. My brother believes that this is all in the past, but I"m not convinced. My Stepmother recently has had an "episode", where she was incredibly verbally abusive, feeling bugs on her, and would not stop cleaning the house and washing the clothes. I noticed that she had lost quite a bit of weight recently as well. I've been reading online that these could be signs of drug use...does anyone have any advice for me on how I should proceed?

If I was you I would be straight up honest about it and let her know what you suspect and how you feel, ask her about her "episode" and let her know that you are concerned.

Yeah, we are not close so that would not be an option for me, but my dad has said that when she isn't having an episode, and if you bring it up, she acts like she doesn't remember, or simply replies "I'm fine". My brothers/sisters and I have decided to just simply call them more (since they are out of state) and try to communicate with them as much as possible, especially our younger brother. But it still doesn't feel like enough, I'm praying...

As I can't say that she is using some sort of drugs. But did she visit any doctor till now. If no you should take her to a doctor. As they can know what this is thing is in reality.
