I have been addicted to pain pills for years.I want to stop but am scared of the depression. I tried but thought i would loose my mind; the depression got so bad I -well how long will the crazy thoughts last . It's been so long I don't know if I want to feel like my old self. I was going through menopause and taking vicdion helped me., my husband is tired of me saying I'm quiting soon. Then I panick and get more.I only take 5 a day it use to be 15 .I'm tired of thinking about pills and how many I have .

Maybe you should find a support group to go to and get a few hobbies to get you busy so you don't have the time to think about the pills.

It doesnt stop until you stop. Thats part of the insanity...
