I'm not exactly sure what you are looking for. If you mean the first personality changes that occur as a person is slipping into addiction then;

* Drinking alone or in secret
* Not remembering conversations or commitments—sometimes referred to as "blacking out"
* Making a ritual of having drinks before, with or after dinner and becoming annoyed when this ritual is disturbed or questioned
* Losing interest in activities and hobbies that used to bring pleasure
* Irritability as usual drinking time nears, especially if alcohol isn't available
* Keeping alcohol in unlikely places at home, at work or in the car
* Gulping drinks, ordering doubles, becoming intoxicated intentionally to feel good or drinking to feel "normal"
* Having legal problems or problems with relationships, employment or finances

I googled and came up with that for you.

Hello,

We've published quite a few original articles about effects of alcoholism:
http://www.alcohol-misuse.com/ (http://www.alcohol-misuse.com/index.php?dox=alcohol_and_sexual_behavior&column=center)

Please respond back if you have any additional questions about alcoholism effects after reading our articles. I'll forward your questions to our scientific team.

Also, we're conducting a survey. We expect to publish the survey results in scientific literature. We would really appreciate if you could participate in our survey.

Thank you,
Sandy.

Its not always that people get high many people become very reserve on the contrary. Alcohol get directly absorbed from stomach and affects your brain and reduce you reaction time which is why it is never advice to drive after drinking and most of us ignore this and land into trouble.

Nice research Britjojo!!! Very impressive research and I think it is enough for the person who just want a brief explanation of what are the pre-effects of alcohol.

i don`t quite understand what your question is but I think you are asking if a person has other effects than sedative and dizziness from alcohol. Alcohol can have a very bad influence on the brain, it makes people react other than they would normally do.
