How many of us eat only when we're really hungry and how many of us eat when it's meal time, whether we're hungry or not, and how many use food for comfort? I know there are many times when I want to eat but I KNOW I'm not hungry. Sometimes I have some water with lemon juice in it, because I read or saw somewhere that the urge to eat is sometimes triggered by dehydration, but sometimes I give into that urge to eat and that would be why I'm now 185 (lost 5 pounds this past week--go me!) I'm trying to get into the habit of eating when I'm actually hungry.

I eat way too much for comfort. I like food, there are no two ways about it. I cook-and am a good cook and that in itself is a problem when you weigh 190lb.

Chocolate is NEVER anything but comfort and I ALWAYS have a ton in. I just had some fruit and nut cadbury about ten minutes ago......mmmmm.

There are also times when meal time comes around and I know I am not hungry, so I don't eat. I will feed my toddler, but I'll just sit with her. I need to learn to listen to my stomach more and resist a little harder.

Then you are a rare individual to be so in control of yourself! Most people like food too much to be able to avoid comfort eating. Do you not even eat chocolate when you are not hungry?

Chocolate is something I usually use for period survival and my daughter is the same: Pepsi and chocolate time when our periods roll around.

Mind you, I LOVE chocolate and I love those Cadbury fruit and nut bars, and Hershey's almond or almond and toffee. Mmmmmmmmmm. But I try to keep it under control most of the month. Oh! And dark chocolate (Homer Simpson drooling noises here)

Since giving up smoking nearly three years ago I have put on two stone.I'm fine when I'm at work but when I'm home (I have a week off right now) I eat three meals and snack like mad.I just can't help myself.I prefer savoury food but when I have had a stressful day I will eat anything I can get my hands on.

Oftentimes I eat when I feel hungry. Sometimes eating makes me comfort, even if i'm already full I keep on eating. But nowadays, I control myself because doctor told me that it is not good for me to gain weight. Sad to say that all my favorites are already prohibited to eat.

But eating everytime can bring in lots of problem . You can have certain meals in between but you should have a check on what you eat

I'm in the mood of eating nowadays but not on fatty foods. I'm more on fruits and vegetables. I think I'm trying hard to be a vegetarian.

I rarely eat when hungry because I'm seldom hungry. That's because I nervously nibble most of the time. My husband told my daughter the other day that I don't take very good care of myself and he is right. I almost chronically take care of others but not myself.

Eating disorder is the biggest cause of many problems . I would say you to have your food in time and just dont go eating everytime.
