Bill, an addict's parent

i have a sone and daughter in law who are both addicts (34 & 28). They are in and out of recovery and are on methadone through a clinic. I believe that they are trying off and on, but that the addiction keeps drawing them back into using for a few days. I think i am not judgemental and have dealt with this as best as i can...here are the beginnings of my questions.
I try not to assume that they are using. but they end up looking/acting high but functional. They will behave like that for 2 or 3 days, and then show up with "a cold" or "allergies. Stuffy nose, looking like crap, cranky (i have seen my son through serious withdrawls twice and this isn't that bad). I don't know if i should say anything or just continue to let them know that i am supportive and love them if they need anything.
I only seem to get angry with them when they lie to me about where they have been or when they think i am oblivious to what and how they are doing. I just need help in knowing what they may be thinking. anyone?
