How many times in a week do u really go for services ? Does that make you feel good , how close do u feel to god when you go to a church .

In these days when every one is running out of time , it is really important that one goes to his religious place , it really gives very good feeling

I go on Sundays, which I've been doing for about 4 years. In all honestly, it doesn't make me feel any closer to God, but I do enjoy sharing the service and seeing other people. God and I have always gotten along well, with or without church services, and I'm currently having some issues with our priest and therefore I have a dilemma about going to church at all, but I have commitments as a lector and eucharistic minister.

We go three times a week for a total of five meetings (two on each of two days). In addition we have a family bible study once a week. So yes, we put a lot of time into it, but it is more than worth it.

Wow , thats lot of service doing . I think when whole of family sits together to read bible then the atmosphere must have been really great

It's a lot compared to many people yes. But being a part of the congregation makes attending meetings a wonderful thing. The fellowship there is awesome, the chance to be with others who share your beliefs is very uplifting.

I get to Mass every Sunday and will visit the Blessed Sacrament about once a week. I used to go to church more and I really intend to build that up again but it never really seems to happen.

I find it integral with any relationship I have with God.

I was going every Sunday and some wednesdays when I could make it, but after we moved I haven't been able to find another church that felt even remotely the same as my regular church. I've gone to a few, but they just felt..I don't know.. stagnant? It felt like everyone was there just so that they could say later "yeah I went to church". It didn't feel right at all. I'm trying to find a carpool now so I can go back to the one I used to.

I do hope that you find somewhere or you manage to get to your old church.

As a matter of interest, what made it so special? Was it the teaching, or the people, or something else?

I think that if you are meeting your own needs hazephase then you are doing what you need to.

I attend services weekly without fail, even though I would often rather stay in bed. Weekends were not made for getting up early.

For me it is one time a week. I personally do not think that the spirit is in the building as much as it is in your heart. But if you pray regularly and read the scritpures often you will find that you are more in tune then you think.

I go to a temple once in every month. My room has many pictures of God. I feel complete whenever I look at those pictures.

I do it regularly. But more than this I practise it every second in my heart. I pray for the happiness for each and every living organism on this earth.
