I think eating disorders is one of a cause for obesity, who is already a problem to some people. What do you think would be the best solution to this problem? I think diet is one. What are some other alternatives you can suggest.

Regular exercise and good balanced diet can help you from obesity. Get early in the morning and go for a walk . It really helps such pateints.

Avoid eating of fatty foods. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Regular exercise and workout. The simple way is to hang out with friends who got a nice and good body figure. It will surely CHALLENGE you.

Yeah , i really feel challenge when i see my friends body in good shape and mine disorder. But regular workout is something you can do to really out throw obesity

Good suggestions. But to kids they are not fun of doing it. That's our problem because our 10 years old cousin is already very fat and she can't control herself eating. Does slimming teas also good for children?

No not for kids anyway . but you can show your cousin some more heathier child and challange her to be like that child . Children also have got ego and when they will find slim and good health friends they will also try to be like that

Yeah that's what we do. But she doesn't care. Maybe if she will step on the teenager stage, that time she might learn and begin the be conscious of herself. Let's just find out later.

I've always believed that counseling would be helpful for those with eating problems. Maybe understanding why we are eating so much would help us to stop.

Yes , counseling does help a lot but it does not work on very small kids , you need to create a role modal for them whom they can look up and understand what they are doing

When your kids are young, YOU control what goes into them. Don't bring crap into the house, if you don't want them eating it, and don't let them have it outside, either. I've had vegetarian friends who controlled their kids' diets until they were teenagers and able to make their own decisions. It's not that hard.

Hear here QuietLunatic. Children do not make the money to buy the bad foods-you do. They don't do the shopping-you do. And it is not them that chooses the habits that are instilled in them at a very early age.

a good low-fat diet along with diet pills xenical is a good way of throwing obesity out.. i've read quite a lot about xenical at http://www.drugdelivery.ca/s3729-s-XENICAL.aspx and i think it's a pretty good pill.. i'm about to use some soon..

I think that some of the things that are put in foods today is the cause for obesity, along with over eating. Which is a direct result of what is put in the food. Hormones put in the food can naturally make you bigger than normal. Steriods in foods do the same.

My mom has obesity problems, this is not because she eats to much , she doesn`t eat enough actually, she suffers from hormonal dissorders and the weith gained lately is the effect of the menopause. In this case a the person should see a doctor imediatelly, medication should be taken and exercise will help a lot, at least a 2 km walk everyday.

Well, surely doing pranayam may help to reduce obesity to a great extend. You can reduce 10 pounds in just 1 weeks. It has been proved. Just search the net for "pranayam" and "Baba Ramdev".
