Our body also needs an alcohol, but I don't know how many percent do we need. Is there someone here knows the exact amount?

You've got a very interesting question aima123. I'm not so sure the exact percent of alcohol needed in our body. Based of what I've learned, when you drink alcohol about 90% of alcohol is broken down in the liver. The rest of it is passed out of the body in urine and your exhaled breath. Therefore, the more alcohol you drink, the greater your loss of normal mental and physical control.

I'm in the health care field, and I've never heard that the body "needs" alcohol. Where did you get your information?

My friends told me who is also in the field of medicines, that it is not also good if we don't have a little alcohol in our body. I am just confuse if how little we need.

Considering that alcohol is a poison, I'm guessing "none" is the right answer. There are certain chemicals in red wine that are beneficial, but they can also be gotten from other sources. One or two drinks a day are not harmful--one being a glass of wine, a bottle of beer or an ounce of hard liquor.

Okay thanks everyone for your ideas. Maybe the best way of this is to consult itself to a doctor to clarify everything.

I think the amount of alcohal that we take through medicine is quiet enough for the body

I've never heard that we need alcohol either, but I have heard at various times that moderate consumption can lower cholesterol.

Ina research it is found that one peg of alcohol in a day is good for health. It keeps our body and mind in good tune. But most of the people misunderstand it and they land into addiction.

One measure a day is just enough for our body, one measure meaning a beer or a glass of red wine for example, but I can assure you that our body does not need alcohol everyday, even if it feels like it needs, it`s the brain that asks for it and not the body.

We only need it in very small quantities and we can only it from other sources other than just bear or booze. Most people are fine to never drink it because its not necessary that you have it and there are substitutes for it. It is not an excuse for going out and drinking every day.
