I've been taking Ultram for some time now. I've been told that it is not addictive and I use it for chronic back pain due to a buldging disc in my lower back. Has anyone here ever heard of it being addictive? My husband also takes it and I remember one time a few years ago when his prescription ran out, he had a really hard and stressful time for a few days before he got it refilled.

If its Pain Killer , then it can be addictive. Many of those pills are addictive and Ultram can too be addictive

The best way is to consult your doctor as soon as possible to have a good advice. Perhaps Ultram is not good for you.

You can also try acupuncture, massage therapy and chiropractic to solve the problem, instead of treating the symptoms.
