Few years back in a fair in our city a group of people were selling a home made drink in the fair . Many people drank it but later it was found that they ware actually using cocaine in it to make it more harder and addictive.
So can by just drinking that drink with cocaine someone gets addict to it. I am sure he might get addict to the drink but not directly to cocaine and how harmful can it be ?

It probably depends on the how much cocaine was put into the drink. It sounds a lot like the original coca cola.

The original coca cola was a medicine, an elixir to be taken for pain, hence the cocaine. It was later found that when the syrup was mixed with water it tasted very pleasant. The drug was later removed.
It depends on the dose of cocaine in the drink as to whether they will get addicted. Obviously the entire nation of coke drinkers did not then go on to snort the stuff, so in smaller amounts I can see that perhaps it would not be addictive.
Yes, cocaine along with morphine and amphetamines were commonly prescribed as OTC medicines back in the early 20th century. Needless to say, this proved to be disatrous and cataclysmic

Is the drink a BFAD Register? I am just curious since it is a home made drink. I think it would not be safe to drink on it.
