Try to control your stinct , this will help you stop drinking and dont worry of your car , you will get it back some day. Just stop your drinking

I think, thinking over and over again the life outside jail and the life inside jail can also help you to stop drinking. And I think it would not be nice to hear that you're in jail because of a repeated sin. I just feel pity for those who can't help it other than staying their life as a prison because of drinking.

Actually in this case , people just live their life on alcohol , You should control your insticnt

Better to control it with or without the help of AA or another support group than to get behind the wheel and kill someone. It's too late then: you'd have the death of another human being on your mind for the rest of your life.

You should control yourself , if you cannot do it now then you might have have to regret it for whole of your life

And it would be the worst nightmare of yours if it ever happens. It's not too late, grab this second chance opportunity to change your image and everything you've done.

if you really want to be better then I think you should take pofessional help and always try to keep yourself busy in some recreational work. This will help you to suppress the urge for alcohol and try to socialize as much as possible.

Ok, this is tough. I recently got out of jail after a 7 day stint (hit a car, which hit a school bus due to my drinking). And now i'm out all of 4 days and i'm already drinking so much i can't control myself. I don't have a car anymore and all of the meetings are too far away to walk. I just feel stupid, useless, and out of control. I want to get better, but i am rarely capable of sticking with it for long. *sigh* thanks for letting me vent.

The closest meeting to me is 20 miles. I can't drive for another 4 years, but all I have to do to get to AA is call.;) The main thing is not to give up.

I think there is no harm in meeting a councellor as they are trained to handle people like you and know how to deal with you!!

I think there is no harm in taking professional help as you will gain and not loose anything in it. Professional know how to tackle problems of people effectively. So it would be better for you if take their help.

You should take some prfessional help or at least try to consult some doctor about the problem. He will advice you better rather consulting about it with the people around.

Yeah I would too support the idea of getting a professional help on the issue.
