For a short period of my life, I used marijuana several times a week. This lasted for about 4 or 5 months, and then I was able to step back and realize that I didn't want it to lead to anything else. Once I stopped, I realized that there are so many advantages to not smoking marijuana.
I can breathe a lot better. I can manage stress a bit better, and I even have a better memory.
Has anybody else experienced sudden benefits after they quit smoking?

When my brother quit his financial situation went from always looking for a loan to being a very astute investor. I am not sure that there was a link between the two, but it was a very strong coincidence.

Hazephase - you seem to be very happy, which is great. So what differences did you notice when you quit? Did you have more energy or more drive.

Well I did quit Mj easily but have no success with smoking. I know that when I dont smoke, I feel better in general but still it doesn't help.

Since it is smoking, obviously it will deteriorate your lungs over long periods of time. It makes it harder to breathe and it will cause temper tamtrums in people(trust me, I've seen people). For those who say MJ has no downsides, they are only looking at the facts they want to look at and avoiding the rest that is against their argument.

But everything has a downside. Alcohol has a lot more downsides than MJ, and most of the downsides of smoking weed come from the tobacco that is smoked with it.

I only quit smoking once before since I started. The whole quit lasted 3 months , I can tell you I felt like I was born again, better breathing , as you said controlled stress a lot better, better taste and smel , and of course I did not feel the nasty smell in my clothes and all arround in my house.
