Do u think one can have all the knowledge about any one religion ?
I think religion is what you take it as. So everyone will have different view point toward religion.

I don't think that anyone can have all the knowledge about any religion. Religion and spirituality are different for each individual, as are morals. They may know everything about THEIR religion, but not everything about one type of religion.

And when you talk about "religion" are you referring to a generic type, like Christianity or Islam, or about one of the many subsects that exist within the larger group, like Baptist or Catholic, or Sunni or Shiite?

You can assume anyone , but i think no one will have true knowledge about these religions because they all have been based on stories and myths which might not be true all the time

I am not a fan of this view that all religions are alike. If religion is dealing with an objective reality then where they disagree then at least one is going to be wrong.

Religion and spirituality are different for everyone. Not everyone can have a single notion of both of these. But I think we are not discussing this here.
We should be discussing whether it is spirituality or religion that is helping you to overcome your addiction.

But you can not have an off the shelf spirituality. If you are dealing with a higher reality then you are dealing with something that matters, and the differences matter.

What I meant to point out essentially was that the world is not objective i.e. you cannot cannot categorically put everything in black and white.
What "matters" to you might not to others. And that was the difference I was talking about.

No, I do not think that anyone person on this planet has the knowledge of all religion. It is impossible to know that much about all religion. I think there are people who think or believe they know all. Life is ever changing, people are ever changing so it is not possible.

I don't see a point to have the whole of a particular religion. We are living and we should live our life positively with faith on God. Thats it.

All the religious teaching are in one way or the other are the same as they lead us towards god. Religion is only the way to reach the God through proper means

Its not necessary at all. Hinduism has over billions of God and Goddess. But we know only about 50 or to the most 100-200. Surely not more than that!
