Who are gamblers in this board? How often you gamble in the casino?
I used to play in the casino inorder to enjoy and have fun. I visited in the nearest casino once a month.

Well I am not a gambler and don't have any experience yet in playing in casinos. But I have friends who are very addicted in gambling, their lives evolves at the gamblers house. I can't imagine how people succeed for being a gambler.

It will be great if you'll visit casino sometimes just for sake of experience or curiousity. You'll surely enjoy yourself playing slots and other casino games. But never bet large amount of bucks if you're not sure for yourself or else you'll regret. You can simply play for fun.

I have visited the casino every time that I have had the opportunity--twice. Both times I stuck with the slot machines and finished on the positive side.

That's great crassus at least you earned something. I hope you'll keep ending on positive side. I'll surely feel great if I win in the casino.

I am not a gambler anyway. But I have experience being in casino. At first, I wonder how the people give their money just to have fun. I could not just imagine, how much money is lost.

I tried playing and got only 2 chips and not more. I lost the game. It was the first and the last.

If you lost your first game in the casino, it doesn't mean that you're a loser forever. Who knows your luck is in the next game schatzi.:D

Huh, this is always what I´ve heard. In my opinion, if I´ll do it again, I am afraid of getting into it regularly. So, it´s better if I´d stop it.

Good idea schatzi. Doing it once is enough.

Actually, involving to such thing makes us interesting. If you win, then, you´ll be happy but if you lose, then it´s not good.

I buy the occasional lottery ticket and I dabble in Autosurfing, which is pretty much a form of gambling, but I never use money I need for running the house and I never risk more than I'm willing to lose. Same for the video gambling. Now and then I'll throw $5 or $10 into one. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose, but I always stop when the original amount is gone. Or if I win more than I put in. :)

My dad is a long time gambler. He had his problems in the past, but he seems to be much better now. I love him no matter what

I have never gambled but I have a sister who has an addiction to gambling. I thought this forum might help me to understand her a little better.

A few years ago she just about ruined her family's finances by gambling. Since then she has turned her back on it but has had a couple of lapses.

The worst are the on line poker sites. It is so easy to use your credit card and you don't realize how much are you gambling away.

Yes. This is not helped by the media talking about internet poker millionaires. Now they exist but the zero sum nature of this game means that their riches are built upon losses of others.

I am not a into gambling but I do go to casinos with friends but never played there. I dont like the idea to play with the destiny.

Well I actually gambled once or twice with my friends and lost so heavily that time that I never dared again to do it and now when I come to think of it I get the feeling that perhaps it was all for the better.

Well there are many people that might be recovering gamblers on this board or people looking to stop gambling. I would be more interested in knowing how many people have been gamblers in the past who are now in recovery.

The time when I lost my money due to gambling and narrated the incident to one of my other friends. He also said the same. He told me that had you won in first hand and you would have continued to play it for the rest of your life. So speaking in that sense it was kinda good to lose.

I`m not proud to say that I have been a heavy gambler and lost all my hard earned money throught the years, now I consider gambling a hobby, I go once every two weeks and play the video lottery, and once a month to the casino to play roulette. I only take with me a small amount of money for fun playing, no more than I can afford to loose.
