I have been taking about 240mg of oxy a day for the last 6 months. I wanted to get of them badly and after 3 unsuccessful cold turkey attempts I went to a doctor who prescribed suboxone. I have been on it for a week now and it is great. I have no withdrawl symptoms and I feel normal. My doctor told me that there is little to no chances of getting hooked on this pill, You start out on a higher dose and slowley tapper down over a month or two time frame. This pill allows me to be oxy free and still do things with my family and function in a normal way of life. The only downfall is that it dosn't help with the pain, but if you are wanting to get off the pills this is a good way to do it I think. It has helped me get my life back on track. suboxone.com is a good website to check out. Good luck to you and god bless.
