Does anyone here know if there are online "meetings" of AA members officially? That could be an option for people who were far from other members.
I was reminded of this here in another thread where a couple of posters were discussing support of each other.

I think there are online support sites, but someone I know who goes to AA meetings says the face-to-face ones are infinitely better. I guess the online would be good in an emergency.

I certainly do not endorse these, as AA is a better place to be but the following places claim to offer online help:

Yes offcourse there are online AA meetings but I think face-to-face meeting is far more better then online. There are many reasons for it.

Well could anyone of you guys explain me about this AA thing. I dont what is it about and what help does it offer?
AA meetings do not help you in deaddiction but they are more of place to share each other experiances related to their addiction. If you want to help yourself then professional help is must.

It depends from person to person which way suites him better. Some find online better whereas some find face-to-face better.
