Does anyone here know if the effects of marijuana are potentially less harmful if ingested in baking as opposed to smoking?
I realize that it still causes impairment, but I'd think it may be easier on the body considering it's not being smoked.

Marijuana is highly dangerous you say? I would like to see some evidence quoting so ! How is the thing dangerous? Why would you want the effects to be "smaller" at all if you use for medical reasons? You'd want to get the most out of it.
Ive never seen conclusive research stating that MJ was -highly dangerous-. Ive seen much more of them saying the plant had extreme potential as one of the safest drugs out there. There are problems with addictions but most of the time the problems seems to be the stigma that people have in relation to the plant because they simply do not have the facts about MJ.
I think that when it is baked and ingested it acts more like a muscle relaxer as opposed to the 'head high' smoking gives

No drug is good for your body. Drugs are the biggest enemy of your body and yourself. I feel sad about those people who ask these kinds of questions. Do you find impairment good for your yourself???

"Space Cakes" were rare when I was at university and non-existent afterwards. However they seemed to have the same effect (although this is not first hand information) although you had to eat quite a lot to get an effect.

I find myself needing impaired atleast once a week. Life can be very stressful for some of us. My doctor is prescribing chemicals to me for pain and mood, and with getting those under control, there are side effects at times, but they do not bother me, they may excuse me from making concise decisions at times :p.
I've never known marijuana to be harmful to the body. In saying that, I would also like to say that I smoked it about 25 years ago for a while, I did not like the affects that it gave me. It seemed to intensify situations and exagerate my body functions, causing me to notice them and freak out wondering if I was O.K. You know, like Oh gosh, is my heart beating right? Is my breathing Okay? Can I swallow?
Smoking is bad for us, of course!
When I began taking prozac in the early to mid 90's, I found its effect to be similar to marijuana without the paranoia.
I was not aware that after cooking marijuana in some kind of brownie or cookie that there would still be a potency to it. I'll never know first hand, because I will not knowingly do any marijuana in the future.

Well I havent heard anything like Mj being harmful or something like that. I googled a bit on Mj and found pretty contradictory to what some guys are saying here. I did found some results saying Mj being possessing some healing qualities. But Mj being dangerous ...........I dont think so.

Firstly the more refined versions of marijuana are mentally harmful. Secondly it is potentially addictive. Thirdly there are cancerous properties in marijuana.
It is not the same pot that was around 20 years ago.

I think smoking it is much better than any other form. You inhale it and thenn exhale it out, so I think it is "safer" than any other way.
