In your place how do you treat addicted people? Is there any discrimination among them?

Yes , theres a lot of discrimination in my place . People just think that addicts are evil for the society and there every action is taken with suspision. Its very hard to leave a addicts life in our society.

That is also happened to our place. People refuse to talk to them and don't trust them anymore. All suspicion are all of them.

I think there are reasons why people do not trust drug users. I fully understand why people treat them differently. For example: when someone you know steals from you to buy drugs then that is reason enough not to trust all users, because they really are all the same and looking for their fix and they do not care about how that causes others to suffer.

No never. We don't just discriminate because he is addicted to drugs, smoking or drinking. We should behave normal and equally with everyone. Its not their fault. They have thier own right to do whatever they want. Why should we make a difference between us and them?

Sadly but true , alcoholics are discriminated , people think ofd them as useless to the society and they are not willing to help at all. Most alcoholics end up living on the streets and famillies just throw them away from their homes, they beg for money just to buy a little drink, or some cigarettes , this is a big discrimination and worst of all the gouvernment does nothing to help these people.

You are trying to say it is not their fault, of course it is their fault. As you stated they have chosen to do this so it is their fault if they become addicted. No it is not right to discriminate against them on those bases alone, but would you really want someone who may possibly do drugs working for you, especially when it can occur at your place of business and cause the person to possibly sell from your business causing raids and closing your business. I would not want that.

Why should we make a difference between us and them, because they need help to admit they have a problem and need help to overcome this addiction. To stop putting money in the pockets of people that use and abuse these people just for profit.

If we start discriminating those people then they will never come up from that dark phase. Instead we should treat them in a friendly way.

Of course "society" discriminates against addicts and alcoholics...at least the one's that are noticeably homeless and begging for coinage. I am appalled at any individual that says addicts deserve to be discriminated against. The American Medical Association clearly states that addiction is a DISEASE folks! Yes, the individual made the first choice to drink or drug, but heredity and a predisposition that makes you more likely than not to be addicted after your first encounter does not mean you should be ashamed, shunned, or looked down upon by society. Addicts have a DISEASE and certainly should NOT be discriminated against for it!

I don't beileve in this. I don't like to discriminate anyone as we all know that in every family these days there is an addict. So how can we discriminate. But i have seen many people who do so.
