I just thought that I should ask this question to you people that when did you really admitted that you are alcoholic. I realized that when for the first time I slapped my girlfriend when I was drunk and after that I decided to quit it and now I am free from alcohol and happy with my girlfriend.

Thank you for sharing. Did you quit on your own or did you get help? Was your girlfriend telling you that you needed help or did she just accept your drinking as normal?

I admitted it when I was confronted with this issue at home. When my paernts asked me about it, I simply said yes. And to my utter surprise their reaction was anything but normal!
