Help!!!ASAP

My Fiance shot up herion in his foot 2 days ago and it has been swollen ince. All my friends say that it will go away but it hasnt. It doesnt hurt as much anymore and there are no absesses or anything its just swollen around the ankle and red but here is the problem. He has a fever of 104 degrees and he keeps vomitting and going in and out of consciousnous. I was able to bring down the fever to 102.3 but he wont kep his tylenol down. he also hasnt shot up for 12 hours now. Should I take him to the hospital? Should I give him heroin cuz he mightbe dopesick?/He has no insurance and hes afraid of how they will treat him in there. you guys know how they treat junkies in hospitals. Has this happened to anybody else before??? or could he just be sick because i was sick with a fever a couple days ago but i wasnt throwing up and my fever wasnt that high. maybe he just got my cold and its a coincidence? or should I take him to the hospital and tell him that he shot up?? I dont know what to do!!!:eek:

If it's been 2 days and it's not really getting any better, there might be something really wrong.
I do know it's hard to go to the hospital for something like this-they treat you like shit-but better to endure a couple hours of some doctors ignorance than lose a foot, right?
If it's an abcess:
-put a hot compress on it
-take ibuprofen (if he can keep it down by now)
Bottom line, if this was me or someone I love, I would take them to the hospital ASAP. :(

I dont understand why would a person do that. I mean what do you get by injecting it in your foot. But I've also read on some websites that some guys have experimented with injecting in their genitals.

people shoot up in their feet to avoid visible tracks. the veins on your foot are visible and easy to hit for most people
