I have been MAKING myself wean down for months now so that my nicotine cravings are less and less. I quit smoking during the day at work. I quit smoking any in the mornings, promising myself I could smoke at night at home.

Now I'm down to haveing 2 cigs a day and 1 gum.

It's the habit of hand to mouth that is hard to break. Oh, and watching TV, I want one really bad. I took up crocheting last night! Crocheted a huge line to keep my hands busy. :)

Good luck and let me know if you find anything that helps!

The website quitassist.com helped....

I tried having gums too, but it just didnt seem to help in any way. However I may try, 4-5 ciggs. a day has become a must for me.

Well to be fair; I smoked since I was 15 up until I was 35, I used to smoke a packet a day. But a few years ago; my son looked up at me (and he was really young), and he said: "Mummy, please stop smoking, otherwise I'm going to lose you..", and hearing that, I quit that very day.

I had alot of repercussions, and drawbacks, but I dealt with it..

You have definately come to the right place. What kind of help are you looking for. Having you already started a program to curb or quit your smoking habit?
