What are your thoughts about Sikhism. I am sure you guys have heard of it. Its followers basically are known as 'Sardars' and they keep a beard and wear turban as they are forbidden to cut their hairs.

Its about 500 years old , Sikhism preaches a message of devotion and remembrance of God at all times, truthful living, equality of mankind and denounces superstitions and blind rituals. I also know they have 10 gurus

Sikhism is something thats very common in India specially. They are non-veg. They are said to have a very pure and big heart.

They are wounder full people and I have stayed with some of them more the 1 years back and I still remember the way that they treated me . There guru was a good man .

They strike me as being very wholesome people with a very strong religious heart.

It is a religion and they are mainly from the state of Punjab in India

All your views are correct. Sikhs are the followers of Guru Granth Sahib. The first Guru of the sikhs are Guru Nanak Dev Ji followed by nine Gurus and presently Guru Granth Sahib.

Yes Sikhs are the followers of Guru Granth Sahib and you would see major of followers in India and Paksitan which also called Punjab which is seperated by a India- Pakistan border. Half part is in India and Half part in Pakistan. Both have same name " Punjab".

i think we are getting diverted from the topic. We are here to discuss addiction not religion. Lets discuss whether people from sikh family get addicted easily or not.
