We want to help him!!!

My drinking for the last few years and his drinking is increasing day by day. He very well know how it affects the person and he use to be against alcoholism but now he himself has into a hard alcoholic. We want to help him but don't know how to help a person who know everything about alcoholism and still continuing with alcohol.

It would be better if you tell us why he started drinking as you said he was against alcoholism. Try to work on his reason why he started drinking and take him to some councellor if possible.

you should start by talking to him about his problem make him understand he need concelling and if this does not help, try to stop him from going out to buy drink, everytime he takes a shot ask him what is the pourpose of doing it. Tell him he should enjoy a glass of drink with his friends but not alone, this just show s a somewhat level of depression, if so he should consult a psichiatrist as well.
