How good is the government on cracking down on such things? We know that these drugs are illegal, but many times they stay hidden. What does it take to bring them to light and how hard are officials actually trying to take these drugs off the streets?

Why bother, don't governments have more pressing issues to deal with than people taking recreational drugs? Free will and all that.

I`ll allways stick to my opinion that the gouverments have more important things to do and push money into that dealling with drug trafficants. Many times these guys go along gouvernment and trafficants, at least this is the case in my place, they all know what deallers are doing but they only arrest the small trafficants that really are not worth it. They should focus on the big FISH.

Well, the problem is that many of the people taking these drugs are minors and don't know what they are doing. When they get hurt, the parents always blame the government. Its a pretty big issue. You don't want people randomly dying in your city because there are a lot of dealers of these things.
