So who actually invents this stuff?

Who or what companies invent these kind of drugs. Is there someone who is actively researching and inventing new addictive drugs? How does this stuff come to be in the first place. Since they are illegal, we puts money and research into creating these drugs. Where do they first materialize.

I don't think that any drugs used recreationally are 'invented', because the majority of them come from natural sources, and have beens around longer than we have. I think you can blame the Chinese for heroin for a start.

I thinks drugs like extasy or LDS are inveted by good scientist that are payed huge amounts of money for reasearh, drugs made from naturatal sources are easier to make but still the process is quite expensive. You don`t know who to blame but there sure is someone responssible for this. Should we blade Albert Einsten for his hard work that lead to the atomic bomb? :)

What's the point in blaming anyone? They exist, so all we can do is educate people to the dangers, and let them make their own minds up.

I thought some of these designer drugs are being invented on purpose as club drugs.

Sasha Shulgin, chemist from the US, has personally synthesized and tested many, many psychedelics and empathogen. His aim is not to corrupt and cause addiction, but to futher research the effects these powerful substances have in understanding the human mind and consciousness. He was also the first person to experiment with MDMA on himself and was very saddened to see it get taken up by Rave and party culture when it really was a valuable theraputic tool that should never have left the psychiatrist's office.

scientist were trying to formate something, perhaps an anti-depressant, but i think that the reason there's nothing being done about it is that ther's so much money to be made in the club/rave industry. so many people don't think that there is a rick of addiction, but there really is
