I've heard from several people that Cocaine is the worst drug in terms of effects on your body. Is this true? Is it more damaging than other drugs like Pot and MJ or pills? I know some people digest Cocoa plants with very little damage to their body.

I wouldn't say it was the worst drug no, I'd say that place was definitely reserved for heroin, because that has a much greater hold over people. Coke is highly addictive, more so that MJ or x, but I don't know scientifically which one would do your nody the most physical harm.

I can`t know for sure if it is the worst drug, it depends how you look at it, i thibnk all drugs are bad for our bodies and none should use them. Though cocaine has the worst effects on the body among all drugs and as far as I know it is the most addictive and the recovery is the hardest.

From my humble perspective, Crack is a Killer. I don't know if it's the life style or the drug or the additives to the drug, but I've seen more people more thoroughly destroyed by crack than any other drug!

Cocaine isn't the WORST drug. But as far as I know things, its the 2nd worst drug. I would say that heroin and cocaine are the second worst. The absolute WORST drug in the world would have to be crystal meth.

That's what crystal meth addicts look like and it basically ages their appearance and their body SEVERELY in a short period of time.
Short-term effects of cocaine include constricted peripheral blood vessels, dilated pupils, increased temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, insomnia, loss of appetite, feelings of restlessness, irritability, and anxiety. Duration of cocaine's immediate euphoric effects, which include energy, reduced fatigue, and mental clarity, depends on how it is used. The faster the absorption, the more intense the high. However, the faster the absorption, the shorter the high lasts. The high from snorting may last 15 to 30 minutes, while that from smoking may last 5 to 10 minutes. Cocaine's effects are short lived, and once the drug leaves the brain, the user experiences a "coke crash" that includes depression, irritability, and fatigue.
Crack is the same thing as cocaine, except cocaine is called "crack" when it is smoked.
High doses of cocaine and/or prolonged use can trigger paranoia. Smoking crack cocaine can produce a particularly aggressive paranoid behavior in users. When addicted individuals stop using cocaine, they often become depressed. Prolonged cocaine snorting can result in ulceration of the mucous membrane of the nose.

Well you make me wonder if these forums are actually college kids learning chemical dependancy. You can certainly qoute textbooks. But haveing actually smoked crack I would disagree with the short term effects.
Not to mention we did not qualify "worse". Sounds like meth certainly ravages one physically. But what about withdrawal, and relapse rates. Or what about the high, can one function while under the influence. i suppose the could be a lot of things worse than being homeless in the winter, maybe even knowing you could have done something with your life.
That's just my humble ramblings...
Be Well,
