Ok I take a few drinks when I am in alot of pain. I have chronic back and neck pain from an injury and it helps more so than any major pain pill. But now Im concerned that I might be addicted. I am not sure what I need to do

A freind of mine have cancer and she used to smoke weed to get rid of the pain that she had from the treatment . She did end up getting addicted to it and today she may not smoke but she drinks alot .

Well, I think of it this way. It is not a long term solution and overall you are just hurting your body more. That is why I don't drink when I am in pain. Its not a good answer in the long-run. Short term relief is not good enough as the pain will come back stronger next time.
