I am saying this to all people. Everyone who is addicted needs to join a peer help group like this. The results I've seen from these groups is absolutely amazing and they increase your chance of successful quitting by many fold. If you want to make a serious attempt at it, join a group such as AA. Don't hestitate to join, I've been at these places as a helper and its really good.

Nice to hear you have helped people with their recovery process, it would be nice to know how exactly you have helped them , AA groups should exist all over the world , in my country for instance there aren`t any kind of groups of this kind.

In many cases groups such as this are more beneficial to people than treatment centers. I think that these groups are very good to help people see what is going on in their lives and how it is affecting them. Whether or not they post about is entirely up to them, but it is a good way to get started in the right direction.

You make a very valid point and in most cases that joining a help group would be very beneficial.

However, you need to remember that everyone is different, just as their addictions are different. Some people need to tread the path on their own or else they will fail.

A flexible approach to recovery is a must, humans are not robots.

While living in a group or a de addiction center, a person can get rid of these problems early as compare to living in a family or alone.
