Shopping addiction

I have made a recent research for a company about shopping, I had to question people about their shopping habits. My research show that more than 60% of the ones questioned are shopping addicts. This percentage is pretty high, but can we call shopping an addcition? I personally think that only rich people can be shopping addcits, because you got to have money to actually go shopping everyday. What do you think ?

I think you're wrong. Many people get themselves into large amount of debts because they can't stop shopping, but can't afford to pay for it, so put it on credit cards. And yes, I think it is just as much of an addiction as any other, beacuse the addicts get a temporary feeling of satisfaction from their activities, but one that doen't last, so they have to keep repeating it.

Shopping things are temporary, so we need to go out almost everyday. Shopping doesnot mean only cloths and accessories. It might be food stuffs etc...
