In todays world we see lots of people who are trying to do more and more things but this can also be addiction .
You will not be dependent on it but it will be beyond your voluntary control.

Again, like perfectionism, this isn't an addiction, its a behavioural problem. Someone I know has a bit of a martyr complex, they'll take on things they don't need to, then expect sympathy and praise for it, yet won't accept any help when it's offered.

Acheiving cannot be called as addiction. Its something related to persons who are very greedy about their work or success. Its not harmfull untill it crosses its limit.
