Life seems impossible without 2 hours of Rock music at home. My whole family complains about it. Is this a kind of addiction? How can I remove it?

Well that is a very good question. I do not think that two hours a day is really the addiction. It would be more like if you were listening to it all day everyday and just had to have it. I have a friend that is a true music addict. She cannot live one day without listening to it.

What you need to do is try listening to it only one hour a day and then ween yourself down from there and see if that works for you.

Well I don't think that Rock music is addiction even two hours because it will just a comman one for most of us. You can cut down the time as Grant suggested which is a best way to came out from it.

Rock music has been addicting most of the youngsters in our society. Why is it so? What they find in Rock music? Where are pop, jazz, country, rape music?

I understand you - but I don't think addiction to good music is a bad thing! A solid band that I have been listening to lately is The Energy out of NYC. Their latest EP "Climbing Palace Walls" is a great listen. A couple of my favorite tunes are Triple Ex and Runaway. The Energy has been compared to bands like Switchfoot, Lifehouse, and Better than Ezra. If you are in NYC you can catch them Feb 8th at the Knitting Factory and Feb 13th at The Highline Ballroom in NYC. They are a great live act - check 'em out and let me know what you think! Enjoy.
