Suppose a mother wants to do abortion. Then she starts taking alcohol when she is pregnant. Will that affect the baby or it shall not? Will the baby suffer serious problem in the near future?

there are many studis made on this issue , the alcohol goes also through the vessels and vein of the baby, nad it drastically affects the baby, alcohol should not be used while pregnancy even if the mom want`s to do abordtion.
The alcohol may or may not result in a range of problems from relatively minor to very serious.
It depends on how much alcohol, at what stage in pregnancy the woman is in, and other things.
Alcohol is never good, but there are babies born to mothers who have exposed them to alcohol who are mostly ok. Some babies turn into children with learning disabilities. I don't know whether Fetal Alcohol Syndrome can happen after one large dose of alcohol. It can happen when a mother uses alcohol regularly. This is a serious condition for the baby.
If the pregancy is very early, and if the alcohol, by any chance, killed the embryo/early fetus the embryo/fetus may not be expelled for a couple of weeks.
Someone who wants to know what damage may have occurred to the baby should really talk honestly and openly with a doctor. Looking up something like, "effects of large dose of alcohol on the fetus" or "Fetal Alcohol Syndrome" or "How much alcohol can damage a fetus" may get some more complete and accurate answers.

Yes, it does affect the bab. I believe there is a "Fetal Alcohol Syndrome" which are indicated by the amount of alchol one cosumes while being pregnant. This can cause a baby many birth defects and could possibly kill the child but if you are looking to abort it this not the way.
