Tell Tale signs of a problem

Apart from the obvious are there any other tell tale signs that someone may be gambling too much?

I have a feeling that a close friend is getting close to going under but really don't want to steam in there and accuse them without having anything more than a feeling to fall back on.

Access to accounts etc is not going to happen so I have to use a bit of sixth sense, any ideas?

Heh, this is a difficult problem ,only your 6th sense will help you, You`ll have to try talking directly to him, so you can be sure he has a problem , maybe he is only an ocassional gambler.

You need to have a very good prediction if you were to see this things to happen, or maybe you have wide experience with the addiction,. But for normal people this is impossible to know.

Aren't gambling addicts really good at hiding the truth if they are confronted? How do you protect yourself it you think there might be a problem, but you can't tell?
