There are many good articles out there that can help you to determine if you are an addict or likely on your way to becoming an addict. There are many articles in this forum that can help you while struggling with addiction as well. If you have not read these then it might be a good idea to look at them. Also if anyone has any other ones they want to share please help us out.
I'm under the impression the key thing is whether or not a person can stop using/doing whatever it is s/he is using/doing just by deciding to stop.
It seems to me that the person who keeps vowing to stop but keeps not stopping or not being able to stop has a problem to one extent or another.

Well for me it's a simple defination, if I can't live with any activity or item than it will call addict for me. If you can live with your habbits than it called addicted.
