As a children of alcoholic father i used to say that liquors are evil because of what my father is when he is drunk. Although i did drink occasionally now i never wanted to look like he is when he is still a heavy drinker.

I can understand that entirely. Some people who deal with alcoholic parents often feel as you do and do not ever want to be seen like that. Now the steps that person takes in life is really what determines whether or not they will actually be like that person. Sounds like you are doing well.
