Drunks are frequently stupid, we all know that. So do you think that alcoholics ever consider the fools they are making of themselves? Do you think that it ever crosses their mind that it might affect their employment if they are seen compromising themselves?
Does any of this matter to them?

No. When I was younger, I got drunk a few times, and I'm pretty sure I made a fool of myself. I tend to be an affectionate drunk, and at the time, everything you say and do seems to make sense or to be genuinely funny and you don't have a clue that you're being an ass until you sober up the next day.

In some cases, some people can be embarrassed by a photo or a saved phone message and avoid over indulging.
But if some people were to loose a job over drinking, they'd probably spiral downward into more alcohol abuse.

To lose a job at the first drunken exhibition, you'd have to be pretty out of control. Usually you should get a serious warning from your boss the next work day, and not fired outright. But still...if you're out of control at an office party, you've probably been out of control before and it's probably time to reconsider your drinking habits. (Using "you" in a general way, not aimed at anyone in particular).

I guess I didn't make myself very clear. I don't mean making a fool of themselves just by their drunken displays; we all do that from time to time. I mean making themselves appear a fool by their increasingly obvious dependence. For me at least it was painfully clear as my ex got sucked back in.
You can see the change in the behaviour; and yes the person's sober, day time performance suffers too.

In most cases, these drunk people never figure out what mistake they are making, but after ther are out of dose, they do find their silly mistakes

I've seen many such people making a fool out of themselves when they are drunk but the irony is that many such people know that they are acting as an all-time stupid but continue to do so as they enjoy being the fool of the moment.
LOL if they will consider that they are making fool of themselves then they will never drink again at any cost. They are never going to consider it and never going to quit alcohol so easily.

Its after that when their booze wears down they realise their acts but at that particular time they cherish each and every moment of being a fool.

Hmmmm. Well t'would seem that even after they're sober again, they still don't see anything wrong with their actions. So I doubt it crosses their minds at all. They're just like "get drunk, thrown out and get drunk(er) at another pub. w00t".

In most of the cases a drunk man does not realise he has the attitude of a fool, he feel good about he`s state of mind, but when he wakes up from the steams of alcohol then he realises he might have made a fool of himself, this in case he remembers about he`s attidute while he was drunk.
