Well I do part time job in cafe and my co-worker is addicted to porn. I can tell he is constantly sneaking off and it makes me want to punch his lights out. Everyone knows what he is doing, except our boss, who is never paying attention.
Does anyone else here see the same thing at work and not know what to do?

I have never experienced anything such as this but do have to say that if everyone else sees it and the boss does not maybe there is more going on then you know. I highly doubt that everyone else can see what is going on and the boss cannot. I think he is just ignoring it.

He is probably just ignoring it, and in order to stop this, somebody needs to bring it to his attention. It's just not appropriate to exhibit such behavior at work. Maybe somebody should just confront him about it? Then the problem would be solved.

Well I was also thinking about it because in past he saved our Boss in legal process from his contact but I can't say that it's 100%. After this he got a promotion even his work performance wrost than others.

i think you have tread cautiously on this so that you don't lose your job. since the guy and the boss are somehow connected, it is wise to let the sleeping dog lie and continue with your job. If you confront the porn addictd guy, he may report you to the boss who may fire you or if you decide to report the guy to the boos, he may fire you since you want to ineterfere into the relationship the two have together.
My advice? continue with your work and if you are enjoying it, look for another one that wil give you satisfaction but i can bet with you that you may still come across a porn addcited guy or woman in that office.

Hi, I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have been practicing for about 10 years and I have focused on pornography and addictions. What I have found is that sexual thoughts can become rather obsessional. There are several techniques I have given my clients that they have reported was very helpful. One is the up and out. When you get caught into the obsessional thinking. Get up and out. Change your environment. Typically, I would say go walk around your house twice. This is a great tools as it allows you to focus on doing something other than having the negative thinking. It also gets you outside which is always good. And it gives you exercise. Many studies have shown how exercise can have a direct correlation to help alleviate depression. Any way, just some thoughts.
