Why does someone start drinking alcohal, I forces him to start it, i know that intially the alcohal stinks but though people go on using it

I only drink socially. Drinking alcohol helps to lower body temperature especially if you're in a cold weather country.

It depends on the alcohol itself, mtajim. Some alcoholic drinks are very sweet and like soda or pop and young people don't even realize the effect of the alcohol until too late. Others, like beer and wine, are more of an acquired taste.

Truly alcohol can taste wonderful. Cocktails exist that are the most wonderful blend of fruit juices and exotic liquors, that you would think you were sat drinking them on the beach. They are not in any way unpleasant.
Other things, yes, they can sometimes take some getting used to, but once you get a taste for them, again they are great.
The big thing is the buzz. Alcohol gets you drunk, which in it's earlier stages is a very pleasant feeling-you feel giggly and light headed and it can be very enjoyable.

Yes, if people don't drink too much it's very enjoyable.
On the other hand, some people have bad experiences with a particular kind of drink and become sick from it, and avoid it for years after.

My father forced some kind of whiskey/scotch on me when I was about 2 years old, and to this day, I cannot abide the smell of certain kinds and I just won't drink it.

Yikes! That's awful, so young! I got sick on tequila and to this day cannot touch it. Also, unrelated to alcohol, egg noodles. Turkey food poisoning with a meal including egg noodles, and the mental block is now there.

I really overdid it on rum once and had to stay away from it for a few years, but I can drink it again in moderation. All things in moderation. Mostly. ;)

I think I've heard of medication some people take to make alcohol taste bad to them, to help keep them from drinking.
Have you heard of something like that?

I think use of alcohal for medication is fine but more than that its not good and only causes harm

This article (http://www.k-state.edu/psych/research_behavioral.htm) discusses a potential drug that does that.
i myself can drink too much alcohol or else i get drunk right away.
i take meds..and after one glass of alcohol i can feel the effects right away.
