Going to Rehab

What is the point of the time when a person is sent to rehab, i have seen many people using drugs for long time but they exit it without going to rehab so when and in what condition is he or she should be sent to rehab

People need rehab when they are unable to break the addiction themselves. For people who are addicted to heroin for instance, the physical effects of coming off it are so extreme that they have been known to be fatal. It's very tough on the body.

In that kind of case, the support of a rehab centre could make the difference between success and failure.

Does rehab centers really help in these addicts to come out of there addiction, i have seen many people getting into addiction even after the come out of rehab

I have heard various statistics, but for instance, alcoholics anonymous is supposed to have just a 5% long term success rate. This rate is no different to the amount of people who would have licked the habit without help.

Ok , i think thats too low rate ,seeing the investment these rehab centers puts onto addicts , there return is too low

You're exactly right Gordman. Rehabilitation centers provide crucial care for the drug addict or alcoholic in need of treatment. Our neighbor is a drug pusher and he's an addict. He treated his wife like a punching bag. So my mom reported it to the Police and our neighbor was brought to rehabilitation center. If an addict person is harmful, don't hesitate to bring them to the rehab centers.

Thats right , i have seen lots of people get violent after they take drugs and hey should be treated like that because they break the rules of society

I have a lot of friends who abused drugs expecialy those called meth or something like that. I tried to change the way they think but it seems they don't get it. I wish they would wake up one day before everything is too late.
