does anyone here meditate?
i do this alot... (and no..you dont have to be in the lotus position saying 'ommmm')
i find it helps with food cravings..it calms me down..and i dont feel stressed out and eat my whole cupboard.
its a really nice activity..and you can integrate that with your religion if you want too.

I've been praying the Rosary lately, which is a form of meditation. I know other people find other prayer beads an effective meditational tool.

I took Yoga classes for several years and was in the habit of meditating. I agree that it helps with cravings and calms you down. I was able to quit smoking thanks to yoga and meditation.

Meditation is one way of communicating God. I like to meditate in a solemn place like convent. I used to pray the Holy Rosary and Station of the Cross. Prayer is my only weapon inorder to fight temptations.

I do meditate and i think it is a peaceful way of relaxing your whole body.I believe that meditating can heal the mind completely with more concentration of the body to function better.I have to meditate every night,or i don't have to but i meditate every night before i go to bed.It really helps me sleep better.I use to have trouble sleeping. And could not sleep at nights.Until i started the meditating at night.
Thanks for asking.

Meditating is a great for many things, including cleansing the soul, breathing, relaxation and more. It is very important that you do it correctly though.

I think when I need to focus ..I stop and close my eyes and think on the good things that I want to accomplish. It doesnt have to be deep and meaningful or it can be. It depends on my mood and what I need right then. Some people call it talking to God.

I can handle my depression very well by doing meditation, i do meditate at least 15 minutes a day, but I do not do yoga or any other kind of meditation, I just listen to relaxion music, lighten up some scent stick and meditate.

Meditation can be of different types. There are a number of ways to meditate but what matters is we do it in a correct way.
