I'm glad to find this place! It is so good to know about other recovering addicts that are making it. So many people don't and I would like to hear some positive stories. I talked to a close friend that i had to "give up" because of her on going drug use. I wish she could understand how good life can be without addiction!! anyway, i'm new to this, i'm not too sure what to say, just happy to be here and ALIVE! thanx for listening.

Hi, my name is Hannah, I'm 15, and i was involved in drugs. you know i got into the wrong crowd, and i started smoking cigarettes, and then i went from cigarettes to pot....and it is the most stupidest thing i have ever done! it got me into so much trouble, i was getting in trouble with the law, and then i had gotten kicked out one day, and 2 days of doing pot like all day every day, i had come home, and my dad took one look at me, and said, "oh my god, are you doing meth". Thats when it dawned on me, that i need help! So i am currently in counseling, and have been clean for 4 weeks.

I praise you clean 4 weeks! how awesome is that! so far I have been clean for 24 hrs.
