husband in trouble

my husband has been spending most days a week in local Texas Hold'em games. Said wasn't a problem,was fun, winning etc. Now he has missed Christmas w/us his family including his grandchildren he has never seen.Says he knows he has a problem, flubbed up, trying to come home today . I 'm afraid once he's home he'll not get the help he's saying right now he needs.Help?

you may need to convince your husband of the need to visit a rehab center in order to get the help he needs. However, that is after you have tried your best to help him quit. I think you should study him to know the reaons for leaving you at home. If its something you can handle, it is highly recommneded that you do it. but if its beyond you, it is better you get him to a rehab center where he will be helped to quit.
