:eek: These two prescription drugs should be taken off the market completely. They are so very dangerous. I began taking mine responsibly, but before I knew it, I was in the throws of addiction and my personality had changed completely. I would take the sleeping meds, wake up and take more. I also ate in my sleep and went on driving trips without realizing it. Not to mention the many conversations I held while I was asleep. This is so very scary. I know many people will say it was just the "idiot" taking the medicine. I agree, I was an idiot, but I became one due to the effects of this medicine. I also was not warned of any of these effects.

Please people, if you are given these meds, take them with extreme caution. A good way to make sure you take them as directed is to keep them locked up under a combination lock. Once the medication has taken affect, it will be impossible to open a combination.

I just became a member tonight and you are the first thread on Ambien (or any sleeping pill) that I have read. I was looking since that is why I am here. The combination idea is very smart and I never thought of that. I also think car keeps should be kept in the safe as well! I agree with you-- it is so very dangerous. However, I have not been able to 100% convince myself of this.
