I went from 3 packs a day, to half a pack, to nothing, without nicotine replacements, without counselling. I think I was just at the right time in my life. I had little to no stress, I had a job and had been accepted to uni, I was in love with a none smoker-everything was just perfect for me at that time. Another time previously I had tried and failed; I think that everyone does better under the right conditions, replacements or not.
