Drug Rehabilitation
Drug Rehab is an umbrella term for a variety of processes by which a person addicted to a drug stops using that drug. These processes can vary from cold turkey to the use of substitute drugs which do not have the same action upon the state of consciousness as the original drug to which the person was addicted.
Alcohol Addiction
Alcohol Addiction is a chronic disease characterized by a strong craving for alcohol, a constant or periodic reliance on use of alcohol despite adverse consequences, the inability to limit drinking, physical illness when drinking is stopped, and the need for increasing amounts of alcohol to feel its effects.

I'm thinking a good support system and support group to help you stay away is of prime importance. And some people will never recover fully and will always go back to the addiction, whether it's food, drugs or alcohol.

QL is right; without a support system in place that is sturdy and willing to take the good with the bad, you are not likely to succeed. Lets face it, there is every chance that a person WILL have a relapse, and the people around them have to be ready to cope and deal with that. Its not easy.

Aside from rehabilitation centers, drug users must always involve in sports or any outdoor activities. It's a great help to avoid influence of others. It's better to be adictive in sports rather than drugs.

Self contrl and support and love of family members is very important in case of de-addiction from any thing. Living in a similar type of group also helps

I thing this was the best advice for all the drug addicts....
I thing it is the best, because few of friends got way from drugs by involving in outdoor sports...

If you are back from your rehab and you still try to use that drug then your family have to be strict with you. And you should be sent to rehab for a longer period.
