Default Recovering Addict wants to help out

Hello all, I am a recovering addict and hope that I can bring some good comments to the site and provide some help for people that might be in the same situation I was a short time ago.

A bit about me: I grew up in small town and turn to drugs in my early 20's because life was just not going the way I had hoped it would. I felt my world was falling apart and this was the only way I could feel better. Then one day I woke up and asked myself what the heck I was doing. From that point in time I trying to bring my life back to what I wanted in the first place. Things are moving along slowly but progress is being made.

Welcome to the forum. Please contribute where you feel you can. It ialways hard when you are recovering to stay where you need to stay. But being able to help others is important as well.
