my name is Shannon schmelzer and I am a student at the University of Maine at Machias enrolled in the Research Methods and Design course. I am are currently working with Lois Ann Kuntz and Jamie Moreira, Professors at UMM to collect information regarding community satisfaction with intern students or graduates of the program. my goal, is to determine how sufficient the Psychology and Community Studies Program at the University is preparing students out there in the working world of Washington County!
A potential benefit of participating in this study is that we are hoping that we will find ways to improve the behavioral sciences, psychology, and community studies program and increase the satisfaction of employers of UMM graduates and/or community partners of the behavioral science program at UMM.
